MeduProf-S implemented a hospital waste management and infection control program in Changsha hospital in China.

We started with a base-line survey where the procedures in the hospital were audited and a study-visit from the local staff to the Netherlands to introduce the Dutch approach. The infection control team was trained as trainer to disseminate the knowledge throughout the hospital and all the HWM & IC procedures were checked and improved. In a conference/workshop for the complete hospital staff the infection control team shared their knowledge throughout the hospital. Finally the hospital met the WHO and IFC criteria as well the local standards for Infection Control.
