Project Description
Friday February 6th the Rehabilitation Nursing training for the Rehabilitation department of the White Yellow Cross in Philipsburg, Sint Maarten ended with a graduation ceremony in the presence of the WYC management. The course was spread over two years and consisted of ten modules:
- Cardiology and BLS-AED
- Psychosocial Healthcare Patterns
- Amputations
- Cardiac and Lung Diseases
- Brain Trauma and CVA
- Neurological Diseases
- Orthopaedic and Trauma Caused Problems
- Spinal Cord Injuries
- Chronic and Acute Pain
- Patient Safety and Quality of Care.
The modules were carried out by the different MeduProf-S experts. The result is improvement of knowledge and skills something the clients of White Yellow Cross will benefit from.
