Emergency Care Module 4 conducted on Bonaire

From October 3-7, Peter de Kruijter and
Erik van Roon conducted the fourth week of the Emergency Medical Care training. The week began with an exam, both theoretical and practical. The results of this exam gave the participants insight into their own learning process.
The main topic for the week was traumatology. After a very clear lecture about  kinetic energy and the relation to trauma, the participants focused on applying a cervical collar and the complete immobilization of a patient on a  backboard. Inside and outside the classroom there were several scenarios for  practicing.
Again it was a strenuous and instructive week.
