Mammography course delivered in Ghana from 4-8 juni 2012

From June 4 till June 8, Machteld ‘t Jong, travelled to Ghana to train a group of 9 radiographers in Mammography. The group was very interested and motivated. The first day important theory about positioning in relation to mammography was presented and the other course days were filled with hands-on sessions and discussions over case studies. Participants were trained in:
• Positioning of the breast
• Anatomy of the breast
• Basic pathology
• Case study
Because most of them never practised Mammography before, it was a very interesting and intensive week for all!
