MeduProf-S provides training during the Philips Cairo to Cape Town roadshow 2012

On June 12 Gerry Konings, a midwife working for MeduProf-S, provided a 1 day training during the Cairo to Cape Town (C2C) roadshow initiated by Philips Healthcare. The session was conducted in Accra, Ghana. The objective of the training was to teach local midwifes, obstetricians and delivery nurses the importance of fetal monitoring, newborn resuscitation at birth and thermo regulation. Training sessions are aiming at contributing to achieving Millennium Development Goals (MDG’s) 4 & 5 (reducing child mortality and improving maternal health)
