Abdominal Ultrasound course delivered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

From January 26 – January 30 MeduProf-S delivered a 1-week training in Basic Abdominal Ultrasound in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Ultrasound expert Mrs. Pamela van Rijswijk conducted the training.

The topics of the training were:

• Ultrasound Physics
• Artifacts
• Ultrasound anatomy of all abdominal organs
• Pathology of all abdominal organs
• Methodical scanning of the abdomen

The group consisted of 30 Saudi male and female health practitioners. Teaching methods used were lectures, group work and hands-on. The participants were all very interested, enthusiastic and active.
