MeduProf-S Training included in a Hospital Rehabilitation Project in Kenya

October 2009 saw the signing of a new hospital rehabilitation project in Kenya for 23 hospitals. Each hospital will be rehabilitated and/or receive new equipment.

MeduProf-S will be responsible for the Institutional Development Program of this project which includes curriculum development and capacity building in the fields of Medical Imaging (Ultrasound, X-ray and CT scanning), Operating Theatre/Emergency Procedures, Hospital Management, Hospital Waste and Hygiene Management and Biomedical Engineering.

Each element of the program has a short-term component linked to the equipment delivery and a long-term component designed to establish a structural education infrastructure in the country.
