Successful workshop on quality management and curriculum development in Ethiopia

From 28th of September till  6^th October Pieter Bon (director of Creative industries Fontys University of Applied Sciences and Everard van Kemenade (Quality Manager MeduProf-S) executed a workshop in Addis Ababa for participants of three universities on quality assurance and curriculum development.

The objectives were to (re)design five master programs in its content, teaching methodology and better focused on the needs of the market. Also the issue of gender was part of the discussion. Participants mentioned their satisfaction, also with the recording and creative exercise by Pieter. Furthermore the Higher Education Relevance & Quality Assurance has been visited and the Minister responsible for national strategy and policy.

During the visit Everard van Kemenade got the chance to meet four of his six Ethiopian PhD students that he supervises on behalf of University of Tilburg, leader of this Ethiopian Nuffic Niche project.
