Training hospital staff in Mnazi Mmoja Hospital, Zanzibar

In August 2016 MeduProf-S started with training of Hospital staff in Mnazi Mmoja Hospital, Stonetown, Zanzibar. We conduct training for Infection Control, Obstetric care, Neonatal ICU, Accident & Emergency care, Ultrasound, X-ray, Hospital Management and Hospital Maintenance. From February 20017 we will start with the second phase and also include the staff of Public Health Center Units from the island. During all trainingmodules we emphasize on activating exisating knowledge and transfer from knowledge
to skills. In the training we cooperate with the College of Health Sciences to guarantee the transfer of skills after finishing the project.

The training program is part of an ORIO project partly financed by the Dutch government. The project contains the building of a new maternity / obstetric clinic and was granted to Enraf Nonius Projects. MeduProf-S is carrying out the training as a sub-contractor.
