Computer Tomography Course at Maputo Private Hospital

The course consisted of theoretical,and theoretical-practical sessions and covered topics related to the physics of CT, topographical anatomy, clinical applications, image quality, radiation dose / patient protection, quality control and the future development of CT. The course took place in the well equipped department of Radiology at the MPH.

The theoretical sessions served primarily to provide course content, the theoretical-practical sessions focussed on the review of concepts, establishing protocols for the possible clinical situations and services related to the use of CT equipment.
It was the first time MedUProf-S had delivered a course in Portuguese. Students and the teacher enjoyed their interaction and learning, which was mirrored in the good results of the final assessment.
