MeduProf-S affiliated member of the European Organisation for Quality

The application of MeduProf-S to become affiliated member of the European Organisation for Quality (EOQ) has been on the agenda in its last Board meeting in June 2011 The EOQ is an autonomous, non-profit making association under Belgian law. The EOQ is the European interdisciplinary organization striving for effective improvement in the sphere of quality management. The EOQ was established in 1956 and its present effective membership is comprised of 30 national European quality organizations, as well as institutions, companies and individuals from all over the world.
The EOQ’s goal is to achieve mutual recognition of qualifications within Europe, hence, the registration and certification of EOQ certified professionals. The EOQ promotes the mutual recognition and acceptance of registrations/certificates within the framework of the EOQ Personnel Registration Scheme, actually based on mutual recognition through the European cooperation for Accreditation (EA), granted by its recognized members called EOQ-PRU Agents. Examples of such certificates are Quality System Manager and Quality Auditor.
The Board decided to approve MeduProf-S’s membership. For MeduProF-S this is a recognition of its journey towards excellence. It gives future possibilities for the business line MeduProf-S Quality Assurance to become an EOQ-PRU agent, train quality professionals and provide them with EOQ-certificates.
