Accident & Emergency Nursing Module 3 delivered in Ghana

From 7^th till 11^thMay Mrs. Tineke Sportel travelled on behalf of MeduProf-S to Ghana.
She conducted Module 3 of 6 on Accident & Emergency Nursing.

Participants were trained on the following subjects:

• ABCDE review of the previous 2 modules
• Interventions in trauma and non-trauma patients
• Triage on the Emergency Department
• The unconscious patient
• Respiratory distress

Teaching methods used were lectures, skills training and training on the job at the A&E department. The participants were all very interested, enthusiastic and active.
