MeduProf-S hosted a visiting Biomedical Engineer from Ghana

This week MeduProf-S has organised a 2-day program for a Biomedical Engineer from Ghana. On Wednesday the Ghanaian engineer visited the Fontys School of Engineering. He attended an interactive session about “medical technology in developing countries”. Students from the School of Nursing and the School of Engineering were present. Thereafter the students were given the opportunity to ask questions about the situation in Ghana regarding Medical Technology. An interesting exchange followed.

On Thursday a visit to the Maintenance Department of Maxima Medisch Centrum in Veldhoven was scheduled. The department, managing preventive and corrective maintenance, guides the visit. Also the various departments in the hospital where medical equipment is stationed were visited.
