NVMBR Jubilee Congress

The Dutch Society of Imaging and Radiotherapy (NVMBR) held its annual Congress from 27th – 28th May. This years Congress was held in celebration of the NMVBR’s 60th year and took place in the Congress Centre (MECC) in Maastricht in the south of The Netherlands.

1.100 delegates attended the Congress and 36 companies took part in the exhibition hall.

Presentation topics included Radiotherapy, MRI, Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, CT, Mammography as well as presentations by International speakers in the session entitled:
” Supporting Emerging Countries”.
MeduProf-S was proud to introduce the following partners to the delegates:
Professor Micheal Kawooya from Uganda presented a paper on results of a long term cooperation in Medical Imaging with The Netherlands.
From Kenya Mr. Caesar Barare informed us about the developments in radiology and radiography in Kenya.
